A bunny hopped into our lives in October, 1981, and changed our plans forever. Our background in graphic design, illustration, and writing, led us to think we were going to start a publishing company to create children's books--hence the name, Drollery Press. We kept the name but moved instead into the world of bunny watching and
meeting other people who adored their bunnies.
After we published the first
edition of the House Rabbit Handbook in 1985, we began rescuing homeless
rabbits, which eventually
led to the founding of the House Rabbit Society. As we continue to care for our sanctuary rabbits, they continue to teach us
about their health and social needs and provide us with the content for the
ongoing editions of the House Rabbit Handbook and our rabbit-care videos. Copyright© 2017 by Drollery Press. All rights reserved. |
